Employee of the Month is much like the movie Office Space except that takes place in a warehouse store called Super Club.

Employee of the Month

Vince (Dax Shepard) is the head cashier after working at Super Club for 10 years. He has won speed ring register contest and has been chosen Employee of the Month for 17 months straight and will break a record if he can get 18 in a row. Woman crowd around him at the store as if he were a rock star.

Vince's Polar Opposite

Zack (Dane Cook) is more of a college reject, happy with a life of no expectations until now. He gets his kicks by breaking the Super Club rules, where he has also worked at for 10 years.

Woman Troubles

All goes as normal until Amy (Jessica Simpson), the new cashier, shows up. Jessica Simpson does little acting in this movie--mostly she stands around with a blank look on her face. Between her good looks and the low-cut tops, she steals more attention than she deserves. Soon word spreads that Amy has had affairs with past employees of the month at other stores.

The Battle Is On

Vince and Zack enter into an all out war for employee of the month, and the attention of the hot-bodied Amy. To win, Zack must do things he thought unspeakable before, such as show up on time, helping customers, and sucking up to the nerdy manager.

Final Word

Overall, this movie seems like it is just bits and pieces of other funnier movies, such as Office Space, and yet even though it is a compilation of the best of the best, in the end, it isn't as funny. Even so, I would still recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys the work of Dane Cook.
