Until you really look at it, one would never really know how many Disney movies were really made. Unfortunately, not all of them are available for viewing and are behind closed doors in the Disney vault.
Animated Feature Films
When Disney released Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937, it was the first animated feature film ever produced. It was only the beginning of a storied history in cartoon filmmaking.

Pixar Films
Pixar Animation Studios were pioneers in computer-generated animation, releasing several successful and critically-acclaimed movies. In the studio's early years, Pixar took part in marketing and distribution deals with Disney. Eventually, in 2006 Disney bought Pixar, making it a full subsidiary of the company.

Disney Live-Action Movies
Disney's first foray into live-action, 1947's Song of the South, included a mix of live actors and animation, as the studio dipped its toes into these new movie waters. More recently, Disney has seen great success with the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Over the years, Disney's live-action output has been even greater than its list of animated films.
